About the demonstration-meeting of "Yamauchi Takashi Exhibition";

I went to the gallery for the gathering though I was pretty busy. I knew it from the notice.

I think works such as the light emitting from the mirror ball placed under the stairs on the first floor were interesting as they represent the contemporary taste, or you can say "kitch". I guess the taste for enjoying such art works is related to the second-class movie such as "Zapped!" (1982). I quoted the words of "Ashi"! ("Ashi" is a name of others homepage).

Also, the laughter and the sound of cracker before starting the demonstration were quite fun. I enjoyed the demonstration of Mr. Yamauchi with his electric voice that he created on purpose, mixing with his self-assertion.

I found his art intriguing, especially how Mr. Yamauchi breaks the style of extant art and reconstructs it. But, his works of the two-dimensional, such as the ones made by clothes, did not attract me so much as I'm interested in abstraction. (It's maybe due to the different taste caused by age difference.)

Mr. Yamauchi spread the confetti, and we blew the cracker. Then, we gathered money in the baseball cap, as the food was not ready there. We ordered pizza, but the table was too small to put everything so I instructed to place the pizza on the floor. Well, considering all of these activities, I enjoyed the evening! Of course, pizza tasted great!

From the above address, I checked the place and went to the gallery. I thought Chim-san posted the information to the notice but Mr. Yamauchi told me it was from Namu-san. Thanks for the information.

I think the notice of Chim-san is very deep!
