QandA
Q: What is "art" to you?
A: I don't know what "art" is, but it is something I can do smoothly with a joy more than working, playing the musical instruments, and writing, and I can get accomplished feeling good or bad.
Q: What do you think about your works and how do you tackle with them?
A: It seems I'm fool, I really like doing detailed work and it's fun for me to talk with my Friends and people in the gallery when I have a lot of work to do.
Showing or creating, it's difficult to say which one I like and I can give priority.
But these two things are always made up each other to be perfect. When I try to compensate for the one, I have to tackle with the another after all. It is like "which came first, the chicken or the egg?"
Q: What are you trying to do by "art"?
A: I want to extend a basis that indicates art by connecting with any incident and life, and make a clear and small basis again.
(But what I want to say here is that now, art is created from any incident and life however it seems art/exists in the another world.)
Q: What do you think about the present situation of art in Japan and the world?
And also about the situation of society?
A: I think various manias are increasing. It's important to think about the problem Inside the world. But also I feel an irritation because they can't have the Opportunity to talk with people outside.
Q: In this project-ONE DAY ONE SHOW-, what do you want to do?
A: I will present the sculptures called myself "SOBJECT(SUBJECT+OBJECT)", the drawings and the documentary photographes of the past my exhibitions.
